The Popular Dunn’s River Falls Tour in Ocho Rios

Dunn’s River Falls is one of Jamaica’s most famous waterfalls. It is located about 5 minutes away from the town of Ocho Rios. This attraction receives thousands of visitors each year due to its popularity and the enjoyment it brings.

Climbing the waterfall is a popular activity and is often, but not exclusively performed with the help of tour guides from the park. The falls is about 600 ft from its source to the sea and is washed by spring water rich with calcium carbonate due to most of the rocks being limestone.  It takes about 1-1.5 hours to climb with short breaks for photographs and video recordings taken by the guides.

The falls is bordered by luscious, green vegetation that shades the area from the sun and keeps the climbers cool. It can be relatively challenging for some people; it is recommended to hold hands forming a human chain that will make it easier for climbing.
